Celebrated and controversial British author Martin Amis speaks about his latest novel, House of Meetings, a love story largely set in a Soviet slave labor camp. Amis’ 30-year writing career began at age 24 with The Rachel Papers, and went on to encompass novels (including Money, London Fields, Time’s Arrow, and The Information), non-fiction (Koba the Dread, Experience), in addition to hundreds of reviews, commentaries, essays, and screenplays. His father was the late British writer, Sir Kinglsey Amis. ![]()
